Review: The Summertime Party 2016

Lots of sun and the most beautiful Harleys shone on the island of Sylt this weekend!

The Summertime Party on Sylt was once again a complete success this year, we were able to experience a particularly beautiful event weekend on the island, we still had t-shirt weather until late in the evening. On Friday there was a special party in the Congress Center, for which you had to register in advance. With a full house there was a great buffet, great music and, to top it off, a spectacular sunset on the terrace.

The event is organized Harley-Davidson fashion dealer Michael Knote and the HOG Sylt Chapter Harley-Davidson authorized dealer Hamburg Nord provides technical support. Well equipped, they can solve many problems directly on site. The party depends on the weather, this year it was absolutely perfect, until late at night.

The Summer time party has a few special features! It's a manageable size, there's no dealer area, it's all about the visitors' bikes! Many ladies drive theirs here Harley's in front of you with awesome bikes, whether in camouflage colors or with rhinestones, it really has everything here. And what's particularly pleasing is that there are really very few third-party bikes here; if you take photos of several bikes here, there are Harleys on them and no other things that make you wonder what they're always on Harley event want.

Another special feature is whether you come back from the island, which can get tight when everyone wants to go home on Sunday. Many visitors like to come to the island for a few days longer, this is certainly the most relaxed way. At this time of year there are cheap guesthouses, but also high-priced hotels and also a beautiful dune campsite, a visit to the island of Sylt is not necessary be expensive.

Next year the Summertime Party will celebrate its 20th anniversary, which is a very special occasion where one or two more people will definitely be there!
