The Harley Factory Frankfurt is “Dealer of the Year”
At the end of June, the champagne corks popped in Frankfurt-Fechenheim: The team around Thomas Trapp and Matthias Meier, managing directors of the Harley Factory, was named “Dealer of the Year” by the industry magazine “World of Bike” in its July issue.
With the coveted prize, the strict jury honored successful representatives of the retail trade across all brands, and the Factory convinced them across the board as a “perfect brand world that has been setting standards for years.”
The imposing brick hall, company headquarters and namesake of the factory, was once a machine factory.
In 2002, Harley-Davidson moved into the renovated building, which offers around 3,000 m² of space for new and used bikes, accessories and clothing, a modern workshop and a café.
Devotional items from the US brand's 110-year company history and Matthias Kortes and Thomas Trapp's extensive collection of Harley classic cars, which even includes rare board track racers from the 1910s, create an authentic atmosphere, people with gasoline in their blood immediately captivates her.
In this fascinating atmosphere, 24 employees take care of customer requests.
It doesn't matter whether it's just a strong espresso or a fully equipped custom bike; after all, the team can be sure that everyone who has been here will come back.
Joint trips with the 330-member “Mainhattan Chapter” of the Harley Owners Group, driving training for those returning to the sport and numerous events relating to the Milwaukee Irons are also part of the Frankfurt-based portfolio, as is the mobile Factory app and the Factory TV on the well sorted homepage and the refreshing Facebook presence.
We maintain close contacts with three driving schools in the region, so that customers can learn on their own motorcycle if they wish and even receive a subsidy for their driving license.
In the large workshop area, the performance center run by motorsport guru Lucas Schmidt with its own dynamometer offers, among other things, special tuning packages for all five Harley model series.
The knowledgeable classic car restoration team and a professional customizing crew also ensure that customers' eyes shine: the broad spectrum of “Frankfurt Customs” extends from the exhaust, to the handlebars and the footrests, right through to complex complete conversions.
If you want to visit the award-winning Harley dealer or arrange a test ride, you can find him at Waechtersbacher Str. 83 in 60386 Frankfurt.
