Harley-Weekend Lübeck | Here we go! The „Spirit of Harley“ is coming to Lübeck

In Lübeck you can already see that there is something special to experience next week, in the beautiful shopping street, Hüxstraße, over 50 specialist stores have beautifully decorated their shop windows with Harley-Davidson articles. As you can see, the Harley Weekend is welcome in Lübeck, people are looking forward to the visitors who are expected from all over Europe.

On Saturday, after the bike award ceremony on the market square, the bikes will ride to the Media Docks and then ride from the Media Docks along the Holstentor to Hüxstraße at around 2:30 pm, led by the Lübeck police. There, the participants of the bike award ceremony are invited to coffee and cake by the Hüxstraße community. 

So it's worth visiting the Hanseatic city of Lübeck a little earlier; custom bikes are already on display in the Harder Center and you can also see what's hot in Lübeck at Karstadt and various other companies in Lübeck.

Something special will also be the cooperation with the photo community, everyone can upload their pictures taken during the event to the photo community and get the chance to win one of five great prizes. The first prize will be a Nikon SLR camera D90 (sponsor Harder Center), the second prize will be an Apple I-pod touch and other prizes (sponsor Gravis Lübeck). The 50 best pictures, which will be pre-selected by the photo community, will be exhibited at the Harder Center in September, where a jury will select the winner.

Eine Besonderheit ist auch das Aktive mitwirken einer Gruppe von Jugendtlichen Lübecker Sprayern, sie gestalten die Wände für Halle bei den Media Docks, in der viele Austeller sich präsentieren werden. Neben den Harley-Davidson Vertretungen wird zum Beispiel auch eine Skulpturen Austellung in der Halle sein, für die wird eine tolle Mondlanschaft als Kulisse gebaut. Die bekannten Figuren Kaptain Hook oder auch die Aliens sind schon im Vorwege zu der Veranstaltung bei Karstadt in Lübeck ausgestellt gewesen und sind nur ein kleiner Teil der aussergewöhnlichen Skulpturen Ausstellung.
