Harleysite News #5 – Visiting Mikey Teutul: Harley news and New York vibes
Action! Welcome to the final edition of Harleysite News for 2024 – live from New York! I'm currently sitting at Mikey Teutul at home, where I stayed during my visit. Mikey, from Orange County Choppers, which many of you are probably familiar with from the US television series American Chopper knows me, gave me a warm welcome. And yes, he even knows a few words of German: he knows how to say „Weihnachtsmann“ (Santa Claus) – a little highlight from one of our last videos together on social media with Paul Sr.

New York: More than just a trip
This time, I'm not just in New York for fun. I also had some exciting conversations with Paul Teutul Sr. and Mikey, as well as Philipp Burger from Freiwild, whom I met in New York City, but I can't reveal anything about that yet. Stay tuned—something big is coming! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to do everything we had planned. But don't worry, we'll make up for it.

A big thank you goes to my sponsor KESSTECH, who made this trip possible in the first place. Without support, such projects would be virtually impossible to realize.
Harley-Davidson News 2025 – No big presentation
Harley-Davidson is starting 2025 differently than usual. This year, there will be no big presentation—neither online nor on-site. Dealers will get a preview, but for us fans, things will remain quiet. Of course, I will still keep you up to date on all the latest news, and I will get the necessary information from Harley-Davidson for you. I may do a livestream on YouTube as soon as I've read up a little on what's new.

More InformationWhat can we expect from the models?
I don't expect any major changes to the touring models. The new 2024 Road Glide and Street Glide models are just getting started. Things will get exciting with the sport tourers. Three new models are planned, including one that leans toward a naked bike—an interesting strategy that could also appeal to KTM riders. There may be a tourer with a Tour-Pak, but given how things are going with the E-Glide based on the new Helix models, I'm not yet sure whether we can expect more than one version with a Tour-Pak, the narrow little case, as early as 2025.

Euro 5 Plus: Act now on 2024 models
Due to the new Euro 5 Plus standard, many dealers had to register their bikes ahead of schedule. This means that there are now some great deals available on 2024 models. So if you're thinking about taking the plunge, now is the perfect time to start negotiating. You shouldn't wait too long, especially for the Sport Glide and Fat Bob. According to my information, these models could see a price increase of 2% from the company. There are rumors that there will be no 2025 models available here and that they are being sold off. The Sport Glide is particularly popular here, and there are still around 350 2024 models available. As these slowly sell out, the opportunity to negotiate better prices will disappear. It's a matter of supply and demand.
Events 2025 – St. Tropez, Medulin, and Hamburg, Bike Days Willingen and Dresden Harley Days
The 2025 event season is just around the corner. St. Tropez is moving a little closer to the city, and Medulin in Croatia remains a real highlight. Planning for Hamburg Harley Days is already underway and tickets are on sale. And there are rumors that the Reeperbahn will come back into play more strongly, as long as there are no new political hurdles.
Conclusion: Ride into 2025

That's it from me in New York. I wish you all a great start to the new year, good health, and a season free of accidents. Thank you for your support, your likes, and the countless clicks. In the last four weeks, I've had an incredible 5.8 million views on Instagram That's really cool. See you at the events or online—stay healthy and ride safe!
