Herford: (jd) A traffic accident occurred on Goebenstraße on Saturday (10.2.) in which a 29-year-old man from Loehn was injured. He was riding his motorcycle from Fürstenaustraße into Goebenstraße at around 2.35 pm. As a vehicle in front of him wanted to drive into a parking space, the Löhner reduced his speed.

Immediately behind him was a 22-year-old man from Hiddenhausen driving his VW, who was unable to brake his vehicle in time. The VW hit the rear of the motorcycle, throwing the 29-year-old onto the road. An ambulance was called and he was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The damage to the vehicles amounts to around 8,000 euros.
