The Hohenlohe Harley Run is celebrating its first anniversary.
The Hohenlohe Harley Run is taking place in Künzelsau for the 5th time, this time again at the beer garden at Kocher.
This year, Harley riders will once again be riding for a good cause under the motto Harley rides for Gambia. The social project is once again supported by Ingo Roth, Christian Humanitarian Aid in Gambia eV. Last year we also drove for Gambia and we were able to give the club around 4,000 euros in cash and around 1,000 euros in filling material for teeth. Both were brought to Gambia, the money was used to support a student daycare center and the tooth filling material was used by a dentist on patients. The event now has a fixed date in the events calendar in Hohenlohe. Harley riders from the region and from Germany find their way to us. The organizers are particularly happy about visitors from abroad. There have already been guests from Switzerland, Austria and France at this event and as the saying goes, the visitors make a good event. The Hohenlohe Harley Run is not only popular among bikers, but also families, Harley Davidson fans, photographers and beer garden fans, everyone comes along to this great event and celebrates with the Hohenlohe Harley Run friends. By the way, entry is free and you would be happy to receive a small donation for a good cause.
You can spend the night on the campground, which is right next to the event site (outdoor swimming pool with tent pitches or parking spaces for mobile homes) or for those who want it to be a little more comfortable, there are guest houses or hotels available directly near the event site. The great event starts on Friday evening with the band “The Three from the Gas Station”. The cover rock band from the Hohenlohe district was founded in 1985 and still rocks today with an almost unchanged line-up and will heat up the visitors at the “warm up” party.
Saturday's motto is “Run”, where we will let visitors experience a great route through the Hohenlohe region. Of course we have come up with a special stop again this year. Where, how, what won't be revealed yet, but it'll be something great! The selected route is approx. 100 km long. Line-up for the run begins at 1 p.m. at the Kocher beer garden, departure will be promptly at 2 p.m. Last year around 180 Harley engines were started there in wonderful weather.
On Saturday evening the band “Redfatcat” will warm up the guests. They were very well received by the audience last year and that's why the organizers didn't have to think long about who would play at the 5th Hohenlohe Harley Run anniversary evening.
We end the event on Sunday morning and meet in the beer garden in the morning to chat.
Finally, the organizers would like to thank the numerous companies for their great financial support and the helpers for their active support before and during the event. Because without this support this great event would not exist.
Harley riders from near and far use the day to travel to Künzelsau, spending the night either at the Camground or in one of the hotels or guesthouses in Künzelsau.
The weather was perfect for this event. The Harley event is not only accepted by Harley Davidson fans, but now there are regular beer garden customers, families and many people who simply want to take part in this great event.
