Even more Harley for Munich
The “House of Flames – Harley-Davidson Munich East” is celebrating its move on March 18th and 19th
(Munich, January 28, 2016) Wonderful curves in pristine nature right on your doorstep, and just a stone's throw away the majestic Alps with their fascinating passes - no wonder that Munich has always been extremely popular among motorcycle fans. The Bavarian capital is likely to become even more attractive for fans of American machines in 2016, as the “House of Flames” , the Harley-Davidson dealer for the greater Munich area, is moving one of its three branches. While “Harley-Davidson Munich East” was anything but small, the new base can only be described as huge. A Harley-Davidson store has been built at Zamdorfer Straße 20 in 81677 Munich, which is probably one of the largest and most impressive on our continent: more than 1,100 m2 of sales space, filled to the brim with everything that fans of the US brand appreciate. And so that they don't have to get used to it, the new company building is conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the old one; even the telephone number remains the same.
The move must of course be celebrated - with a befitting housewarming party on March 18th and 19th. On both days there will be a big Harley party in the “House of Flames” and everyone who enjoys
American motorcycles and a good mood is warmly invited to take part. Managing director Walter Maygatt and his team have come up with a lot of ideas to ensure that no aspect of the colorful range of topics relating to US bikes is left out. “Harley on Tour” truck will arrive just in time for the opening – packed with test machines that are available for free and non-binding test drives. In the showroom, guests can expect a variety of new and used bikes as well as lots of Harley fashion and accessories.
Custom upholsterers and painters as well as suppliers of exhaust systems will also be presenting their products. Several live bands ensure the best entertainment, and of course food and drink are provided, as the new Harley dealership has its own stylish café. Classic car fan Maygatt was particularly pleased that his new business premises offer enough space for his collection of historic Harley models, which can also be viewed on Zamdorfer Straße from March 18th and 19th.
The Munich workshop team is also happy about having even more space, as they now have access to state-of-the-art, bright rooms in which, in addition to maintenance and service work, restorations and individual conversions can be carried out according to customer requirements. The Munich Harley representative's service also includes affordable courses for those returning to the motorcycle hobby and a comprehensive range of rental machines: More than 70 new Harleys will be available for rent in the future for small everyday escapes or large vacation trips.
If you want to get to know the world of American motorcycles and the new Munich “XXL” store, you should mark March 18th and 19th in your calendar and note “Zamdorfer Straße 20” after it.
