The „House of Thunder“ in Lübeck celebrates its 20th anniversary on September 19 and the official opening as a Harley-Davidson dealership
In 1995, Jörg and Erik Vauth founded the Lübeck-based „House of Thunder“. From the very beginning, the two V-Twin fans were all about the machines from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and professional customizing. In 2002, their international breakthrough in the custom scene came when they started the bike „Simply the best“ in Daytona won all the prestigious bike shows and 10 years later climbed the winners' podium again in the USA with the same bike, which stands for the quality and uniqueness of this project.
Finally, in 2015, the Harley-Davidson Germany GmbH The enthusiasm of the dedicated Lübeckers was rewarded with a dealer contract. Since then, the Hanseatic „Harley-Davidson Lübeck“ and began to renovate and remodel their company headquarters at Taschenmacherstraße 6 to give their new Harley-Davidson dealership the perfect look.
Twenty years of „House of Thunder“, the dealership certificate and the official opening of the rebuilt company - that's something to celebrate!
The Lübeck-based company is therefore inviting all motorcycle and music fans as well as anyone who simply wants to get a taste of the biker air to the „Grand Opening“ on September 19. All owners of „House of Thunder“ custom bikes are also invited - with their bikes, of course. The „homecoming“ of the numerous machines customized by the „HOT“ team is sure to make eyes sparkle and provide plenty to talk about. Please send a short email to Jens@Harley-Davidson-Luebeck.de. The H.O.T bikes will be presented on stage by Frank Sander and there will also be a bike award ceremony.
Over 1,000 m² of space will be used to create a American Bike Store of superlatives with a showroom, workshop, service area, lounge and clothing store. On September 19, visitors will of course be able to take a look behind the scenes, discover the art of finishing and see the latest creations from the „House of Thunder“.
The Lübeck team is on hand to answer any questions, whether it's about the individual touch for the bike, clothing and accessories, bike maintenance or an expert performance upgrade. Of course, the team around the managing directors Jens Pott and Jörg Vauth The guests„ culinary needs will also be catered for. Musically, the party starts with "Jimmy Cornett and the Deadmen“ who are known to rock the stage. A fundraising campaign as well as a raffle in favor of the project Herzenswunsch e.V. where seriously ill children get their wishes fulfilled is close to the hearts of the Lübeck team and so, among other things, the raffle and drinks proceeds are donated to the project.
Furthermore, H-D test drives are offered and suppliers such as. Jekyll and Hyde, NHPower, Schrammwerk and many more will also be on site to round off the program. If you make a note of the date, September 19, in your calendar and write „H-D Lübeck, Taschenmacherstrasse 6“, you can expect even more surprises and custom bikes from two decades.
It starts at 10 am, there is a lot to see, test rides are also possible! The raffle draw will take place at around 6:00 pm and Jimmy Cornett and the Deadmen will be live on stage from around 6:30 pm, the end is open.
