IMOT 2023 – International Motorcycle Exhibition in Munich
IMOT 2023: Online ticket sales started for the largest two-wheeler trade fair in southern Germany
Munich. It starts again in around twelve weeks: The IMOT – International Motorcycle Exhibition opens its doors from February 24th to 26th, 2023. Ticket sales are now underway on the trade fair website www.imot.de. Particularly noteworthy: IMOT tickets are also valid for the large travel and leisure trade fair f.re.e, which runs parallel at the exhibition center in Riem.
Since the first IMOT, the trade fair has become a fixture in the event calendar for two-wheeler fans in southern Germany. The organizers counted around 60,000 visitors almost every year at the MOC event center in Munich-Freimann. After a two-year pandemic break, the trade fair is now moving to mark its 30th anniversary: The new edition of IMOT will run from February 24th to 26th, 2023 on the Munich Trade Fair grounds in Riem. In Halls C5 and C6 there is a full program with many new motorcycles, scooters and quads - both with combustion engines and with electric drives. There are also numerous suppliers of accessories and parts for customizing and tuning as well as all types of clothing related to two-wheelers. Last, but not least, many tour operators are also taking part in IMOT.
IMOT managing director Petra Zahradka sees the move with both a laughing and a crying eye: “Over the past 29 years, we have grown very fond of the old location in the MOC, which is why we did not make the decision to move lightly. The general conditions on the exhibition grounds were ultimately the decisive factor, because with the size of the halls and the entire infrastructure around them, there are great advantages for us and the visitors. I would just like to mention the first-class parking facilities on site." Standing on the Munich Trade Fair grounds In the future, IMOT will have more than 20,000 square meters of exhibition space available in two large halls.
Another advantage of the new location: IMOT opens its doors parallel to Bavaria's largest travel and leisure trade fair. In this way, the organizers rely on common interests among their target groups. “The combination of IMOT and f.re.e is a real win-win situation, because it allows us to offer our regular audience access to an even wider range of products,” explains Petra Zahradka. “Since many motorcycle enthusiasts are also outdoor, sports and travel fans, visitors can only benefit from the wide range of offerings from both trade fairs in one place at the same time. The best thing about it: IMOT tickets are also valid for f.re.e and vice versa.”
In order to keep the process as simple as possible, IMOT tickets are only available online at www.imot.de. Tickets are available for 15 euros (adults) or 12 euros (reduced, with proof). There are also inexpensive tickets available from 3 p.m. in the afternoon and for youngsters between 6 and 14 years old. Children up to and including the age of five have free entry. Further information can be found in the ticket shop and on the IMOT website.
