The 25th International Ladies of Harley Rally will take place in Hamburg from September 12th to 16th
- Europe's largest motorcycle meeting for Harley bikers
- Joint dike tours and visits to the musicals “Hot Corner” and “Tina”
- Shopping at the Hamburg dealer and the big “Hamburg Cruise Days” parade
(Neu-Isenburg, July 10, 2019) A Harley is more than just a motorcycle . This is also ensured by the Harley Owners Group ( HOG ), the world's largest customer association supported by a motorcycle manufacturer, and the Ladies of Harley (LOH) - founded in 1996 specifically for female Harley fans.
Since then, the European ladies have met 24 times under the leadership of LOH boss Mary Mölder to ride together and party in the style of Harley-Davidson .
The 25th event is coming up in 2019: Hamburg be the destination for European female Harley bikers from September 12th to 16th and the event once again promises to be the largest European motorcycle meeting for women.
The ladies' base camp is the Holiday Inn Hamburg – City Nord right next to the city park, where you can experience the city in a more typical and authentic way than in few other places. The participants will start their V-twins there on Thursday and Friday to set off on dike tours organized by the HOG chapters in Hamburg.
On the agenda for Thursday evening is “Heiße Ecke”, the most successful German-language musical of all time with over two million viewers. Then we go to the cult bar “Cowboy and Indians”.
There's time for music again on Friday evening: "Tina," the only musical authorized by Tina Turner, presents the transformation of Anna Mae Bullock from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, into Tina, the "Queen of Rock."
On Saturday, the ladies will pay a visit to one of the largest and most impressive Harley-Davidson dealerships in Germany: Harley-Davidson Hamburg-Nord. In the US brand's megashop, chatting, talking shop and - of course - shopping are the order of the day.
“Hamburg Cruise Days” parade
In the evening, another highlight awaits the participants with the impressive “Hamburg Cruise Days” parade. For all the ladies it's now time to look at ships, wave at ships and at the same time experience Hamburg's waterfront up close.
They marvel at a unique parade of festively illuminated cruise ships, the atmospherically illuminated harbor and the large fireworks display from the deck of the MS Louisiana Star.
The classic paddle steamer sails towards the big boats that are leaving the harbor that evening - goosebumps are guaranteed! It's a matter of honor that there's a mega party on board until well after midnight.
Anyone who wants to continue powering up afterwards can end the night on the Reeperbahn. After another ride on Sunday, a day later it's time to say goodbye to perhaps Germany's most beautiful city and numerous new motorcycle friends.
