LIVEWIRE PRESENTS THE NEW PERFORMANCE CRUISER S2 MULHOLLAND
The S2 Mulholland complements the S2 portfolio and is now available from European LiveWire dealers
FRANKFURT (05.02.2025) - LiveWire, one of the leading manufacturers of electrically powered motorcycles, presents the new S2 Mulholland, which is now available at dealerships across our continent. It represents a change in traditional motorcycle design, which was previously characterized by a fuel tank that helped define the silhouette. The new LiveWire is also the first to use sustainable materials in key components of the bike.
The recommended retail price for the S2 Mulholland is €19,427 in Germany and CHF 18,490 in Switzerland.
The design of the LiveWire performance cruiser departs from the traditional internal combustion engine cruiser, where the gas tank typically plays a crucial role. The electric S2 platform gave the design team the opportunity to create a new look and therefore a new visual experience that, among other things, makes the brake lines and wiring harness visible and creates a strong connection between man and machine.
Use of sustainable materials
In important areas - such as the plastic parts and the seat - the S2 Mulholland uses sustainable and environmentally friendly materials for the first time, setting new standards.
The front and rear fenders of the machine are made from CAP hemp biocomposite material. The radiator covers and other components are made from Hylon Ocean (PCR nylon), which is produced from discarded fishing nets, further reducing dependence on petroleum-based plastics. And instead of leather or vinyl, petroleum-free, recyclable silicone is used for the seat.
The bike is also available in an environmentally friendly unpainted „Lunar White“ finish, which minimizes the use of conventional plastics and paints, as the fenders are made of CAP hemp biocomposite material - an effort that is unique in this segment to date. One available paint option is Liquid Black.
Performance and charge
As the S2 Mulholland is based on the LiveWire S2 platform, it has the same dynamic handling characteristics as the S2 Del Mar. Its low weight of 196 kg, power output of 84 hp and torque of 263 Nm help the machine to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96.6 km/h) in around 3 seconds if required. The 10.5 kWh battery provides a range of 194 km in the city and 118 km out of town (measured on a US highway at 88 km/h)**. As with the S2 Del Mar, level 1 and level 2 charging is also possible with the S2 Mulholland.
Loading times
Level 1, 20-80 % in approx. 5.9 hours
Level 2, 20-80 % in approx. 78 minutes
Driving experience
Although the S2 Mulholland uses the same platform as the S2 Del Mar, the riding experience on it is completely different. This is due to the newly designed triangle consisting of handlebars, footrests and seat.
The handlebars are mounted on a 6“ riser and are not only positioned higher but also closer to the rider, so that the rider adopts an upright riding position that is not based on flat-track racing bikes but on performance cruisers.
To exploit the possible lean angles of 55° left and 50° right, LiveWire fitted the 19“ front wheel and the 17“ rear wheel of the S2 Mulholland with Dunlop Sportmax RoadSmart IV tires.
accessories
LiveWire will be offering a wide range of accessories for the S2 Mulholland. These include a pillion seat, soft and hard bags, a luggage rack and components that further individualize the look of the machine.
