APPLE TV+ RELEASES THE OFFICIAL TRAILER FOR „LONG WAY UP“
The first three episodes of the Apple Original adventure series starring Ewan McGregor
and Charley Boorman will be available to watch on Apple TV+ starting September 18.
MILWAUKEE (September 3, 2020) – With the release of the official trailer for „Long Way Up“ starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, Apple is giving motorcycle fans a first taste of the adventures that await them in the unscripted 11-part series. The first three episodes will air worldwide on Apple TV+ starting Friday, September 18. Subsequent episodes will be available weekly on Fridays.
More than a decade has passed since their last motorcycle trip around the world – now „Long Way Up“ brings McGregor and Boorman back together for the ultimate journey in travel and friendship. During their most challenging expedition to date, the two covered more than 20,900 kilometers in 100 days from Ushuaia at the tip of South America to Los Angeles in the USA – on two modified, electrically powered Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycles that enable sustainable globetrotting.
On their journey on high-tech bikes, McGregor and Boorman crossed 16 border crossings and 13 countries. Together with directors David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, the two friends were also responsible for producing the series. Alexanian and Malkin followed their protagonists in the first two trucks ever produced by US manufacturer Rivian, which exclusively offers electric cars. Apple TV+ can be accessed via the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch, and Mac, as well as on select Samsung and LG smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, and via tv.apple.com. The first seven days are free for users.
