You never go completely like that

Bernhard Gneithing becomes an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer; Frank Klumpp takes over his position as Marketing Director at Harley-Davidson GmbH.

“Everything will be fine” declaimed Nina Ruge, the Toten Hosen and Bushido. “Everything will be fine” is also Bernhard Gneithing’s motto.

The 46-year-old business graduate joined Harley-Davidson in 1998 and has since been responsible for marketing for the German branch of Harley-Davidson, Inc. in Mörfelden. A dream job, as he often stated, because Bernhard has been an enthusiastic rider and fan of motorcycles from Milwaukee, USA, since he was 22 years old.

After 14 very successful “years of service”, Gneithing now decided to leave the German branch of Harley-Davidson and become self-employed – as a Harley-Davidson authorized dealer in the Meilenwerk on Graf-Zeppelin-Platz in Böblingen.
Everything will be fine – not only for Bernhard, but also for Frank Klumpp. The 37-year-old business economist succeeds Gneithing in the position of Marketing Director at Harley-Davidson GmbH.

Klumpp has been working as a district manager at the “interface” with retail for Harley-Davidson since 2009. In his free time, the Frankfurt resident is - of course - a passionate biker, and in his new professional role he is responsible for the marketing of Harley-Davidson products and services as well as for the concept of market-oriented corporate management.

His tasks include the development of business plans and budgets for marketing and public relations, the definition of advertising and promotional goals, the implementation of communication measures and campaigns as well as other topics within the context of media communication and sponsorship.

He will work closely with the European and global marketing as well as the national advertising and PR teams.
“I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and the exciting tasks that await me,” says Klumpp. “Together with all our colleagues at Harley-Davidson, we will work hard to advance our brand in Germany even further bring to!"
Gneithing also has big tasks ahead of him, as he wants to open his shop at the beginning of 2013.

After all, those born with wings should do their best to use them to fly...

But don't worry: everything will be fine. You can be just as sure about Bernhard as you are about Frank!
