POL-WES: Moers – motorcyclist crashes into speed camera. Police are looking for witnesses
Moers (ots) - On Tuesday around 3:40 p.m., a 20-year-old from Moers was driving a motorcycle on Rheinberger Strasse in the direction of Verbandstrasse.
According to his own statements, around the height of house 269 he wanted to avoid a puddle, lost control of the bike and fell. The vehicle crashed into a speed camera that was set up there. The young man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for outpatient treatment.
Both the motorcycle and the speed camera were slightly damaged.
The traffic commissioner is looking for witnesses who saw the accident. You are asked to call 02841 / 171-0.
