Hagen-Mittelstadt: On Thursday, 15.02.2024, officers from the Hagen traffic service monitored the speed of vehicles on Volmestraße in the direction of Eilper Straße. A motorcycle was speeding there at around 8 pm. The 21-year-old presented a driver's license. However, the registration certificate showed that this was not sufficient for the registered rated power.

In addition, the rear-view mirrors did not correspond to any approved form. Furthermore, an initial noise measurement on site revealed an excessive decibel level. The officers had the Harley seized as the operating license had expired and there was a suspicion of driving without a license.

A few hours later, the 21-year-old submitted documents to the police station to prove the throttling and noise reduction. The traffic police are now investigating whether these documents are true or whether they have been tampered with at a later date. (hir)
