MOTORCYCLE SHOW OLDENBURG 2024
Spring awakening for two-wheeler fans
MOTORCYCLE SHOW on February 3rd and 4th in Oldenburg
The short days of the cold season hurt every biker. Quickly putting on the gear in the evening and clearing your head on two wheels - that often falls through due to the weather. Dark clouds alone are not a threat. A ride in the snow, however, makes the driver's heart freeze faster.
So it's good when the days slowly get longer again, the first rays of sunshine tickle your skin and you can ring in the new season together with like-minded people at the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024 in Oldenburg. Next weekend, those interested will have the opportunity to meet the region's established dealers, who will be stocking their stands with the latest models, lots of equipment, accessories and other gimmicks. The trade fair's offerings are rounded off by Mike Auffenberg's legendary stunt show, a wheelie simulator and the second edition of the MOTORRAD SHOW custom bike contest. The Custom Moped Contest, which was launched in collaboration with the Moped Drag Race Team, is also celebrating its premiere.
Paint and chalk
If you want to start the season with full throttle and a new machine after the winter, you will find many new models from Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen . “In addition to the Honda Babyfireblade CBR 500 R Model 24 and the Honda CBR 650 R,” reveals Nico Gerull, Managing Director of Honda Motorrad Huchting Bremen, “there will be a special highlight that visitors to the motorcycle trade fair in the Weser-Ems Halls Oldenburg can be happy.”
“The individual conversion of a Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R) shines particularly thanks to the original Porsche paint in the color chalk. A drive through Bremen traffic at dusk brought me to a stop next to a Porsche with this unique paint job. After congratulating the driver on this great car, I learned about the uniquely beautiful color, which laid the foundation for the idea for the individual model of the Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R). I’m excited to see what visitors to the trade fair say about it,” says Nico Gerull happily.
Speaking of paint: As the best-selling scooter, the 2024 SH 125 i model from Honda surprises in vetro green - a very special paint finish that is a feast for the eyes with its green-transparent color image. “This color has never existed before,” beams Nico Gerull.
PS sweets and highlights
Honda fanatics of the well-known 750 Hornet can look forward to possibly another motorcycle treat. The bike is being converted with great attention to detail by the team at Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen and is intended to be a stylish companion to this year's MOTORRAD SHOW in Oldenburg. And if the 750 Hornet misses its appearance, it will present its splendor at the company's 30th anniversary this year at the latest.
The team around Nico Gerull from Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen invites everyone interested in two-wheelers to try out the models they brought with them at the 2024 motorcycle show. Visitors will once again be treated to an impressive offering from Honda. Even younger drivers aged 16 and over or owners of a class A1 or B196 driving license will find the Honda CB 125 R with 125 cc displacement just the right machine to get started.
And there are also suitable enduro bikes for travel enthusiasts. The lightweight models of the Honda Africa Twin with a DCT dual clutch transmission (automatic) and the Honda Transall, as one of the best-selling motorcycles in Germany, offer beginners and novice drivers the ideal driving experience for longer distances.
By the way: To do something good for your own bike over the winter months, you can use the winterization service at the Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen.
True passion
The passion for the Honda brand cannot be ignored in the conversation with Nico Gerull. As a true fan of motorcycling legend and world champion Nicky Hayden, his passion for riding his own motorcycle was sparked in 2009. “Motorcycling literally blew me away,” says Nico Gerull, who has never forgotten his first climb on a Honda CBR 600 R.
He started as a salesman at Motorrad Huchting Bremen in 2011 and took over the management during Corona times. A difficult time, but one he never regretted. According to the motto “if you don't dare, you don't win”, he continued to run the business with a lot of horsepower and his heart in the right place. “I enjoy my job the most and it gives me the greatest joy,” says Nico Gerull, beaming.
