Fridingen an der Donau, Knopfmacher Felsen, L 277) Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

On Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on the L 277 road near the Knopfmacher viewpoint near Fridingen. Previous rain had washed gravel from the verge onto the carriageway of the L 277.

When driving over the dirty road, the 62-year-old motorcyclist on his Harley-Davidson skidded at around 12.40 p.m., veered off the road to the right and crashed into a rocky outcrop.

In the accident, the biker suffered a lower leg fracture on his right leg and had to be taken to the hospital in Tuttlingen for further treatment by the arriving emergency services. The Harley was damaged to the tune of around 2000 euros. It was taken away.
