TOP Motorcycle Repair Shop 2025: MOTORRAD lists the best repair shops in Germany
Stuttgart, March 14, 2025 – For the first time, readers of MOTORRAD magazine are being given comprehensive guidance in the often difficult search for the right repair shop for their motorcycle. In cooperation with the QuantiQuest Institute, an overview of the top motorcycle repair shops in 2025 has been compiled, featuring around 800 of the best businesses. All of them meet the strict criteria of the study.
The current issue of MOTORRAD magazine offers ten pages of detailed information about the workshop search and the results of the study. Issue 7/2025 is available in stores and online starting today at shop.motorpresse.com available (also as an e-paper). „Whereas motorcyclists used to be able to carry out a lot of servicing work on their vehicles themselves, this is becoming less and less possible nowadays. More electronics on motorcycles, their greater complexity, and a design that focuses on the center of gravity are causing many motorcyclists to move away from DIY,“ says Robert Glück, head of the service department at MOTORRAD, who provided editorial support for the study.
„This makes it all the more important to have an easily accessible workshop that you can trust and whose services suit your needs. With the Top Motorcycle Workshop 2025 survey, we give our readers the opportunity to target the more than 800 workshops that impressed in the evaluations of all the parameters surveyed.“
To gather basic information, around 3,200 workshop operators were first asked specific questions about their services, certifications, and training and further education. In addition, questions were asked about locations, brand loyalty, opening hours, and contact details. Artificial intelligence was also used to evaluate the workshops: using a trained language model („Large Language Model“), around 150,000 customer reviews from selected and particularly relevant online portals were analyzed according to 11 categories.
The focus was on the tonality of the reviews: positive, neutral, or negative. The quality of the results was continuously checked manually by a specially trained team of experts, who constantly optimized both the coding and the language model used in the study.
The following criteria in particular were collected and evaluated:
- Workshop performance with overall satisfaction, perceived technical expertise, training and continuing education, and Google ratings from the past twelve months
- Service quality with friendliness, reliability, honesty, and transparency, waiting times and flexibility, additional services
- Value for money and price-cost transparency
