Then the corresponding system for Twin Cam followed in 2000 and now since 2018 there has been further development for Milwaukee Eight models.

If you rebuild the rear of your Harley , it is now a given that you should also think about lowering it. After all, you want a motorcycle that doesn't look like a motocross. To achieve this, you can rely on a comfortable, but also expensive, air suspension or a manual lowering system. And this is where Müller comes into play. Known for technically sophisticated and innovative products, Müller is the first manufacturer to offer an individually height-adjustable lowering kit for Milwaukee Eight models. The highlight: there is no need to shorten the threaded rod!

Why is this so important right now? If the threaded rod of the damper is shortened, the chassis is irrevocably destroyed. If you no longer like the depth or degree of hardness later, there is nothing you can do to undo it.

This is different with Müller's system. Here the original components are simply exchanged for new ones. The chassis can be continuously adjusted to the desired depth using the spring washer. This means you can individually approach the height that is perfect for you and then change it again and again.

Lowering for the Milwaukee-Eight models

With a maximum lowering of approx. 40mm, the spring preload only increases by approx. 3mm. This means that driving comfort is maintained even when the vehicle is lowered to the maximum. The hardness of the chassis can still be adjusted as before without any restrictions.

Müller offers two variants for the Softail models:

Variant MP1 for:

• FXBR Breakout
• FXDR 114 Softail
• FXBS / FXFB Fat Bob
• FX Sport Glide

And MP2 variant for:

• FXBB Street Bob
• FXLR Low Rider
• FLSL Softail Slim
• FLDE Deluxe
• FLHC/FLHCS Heritage Classic

The lowering kit should only be installed by a specialist workshop and costs €299.00 for the MP1 variant and €349.00 for the MP2 variant.
