Neudorf-Süd: Senior woman flees after rear-end collision – witnesses sought

Already on Monday afternoon (August 21st, 12:45 p.m.), a previously unknown driver hit a motorcycle that was waiting at a red light at a traffic light on Colony Street in the area where it crosses Sternbuschweg.

After the traffic light showed green again, the driver (59) of the Harley-Davidson to continue his journey towards Duisburg-Wedau when he felt a jolt from behind and fell. After pushing his motorcycle off the road and turning around, he saw a yellow/gold colored SUV behind him with an elderly woman behind the wheel who was holding her hand over her mouth in shock.

Because the 59-year-old initially suspected that he had stalled his two-wheeler and fell without any outside influence, he drove home and only discovered there that his Harley had fresh rear damage. The man from Duisburg then went to the police station in Buchholz and filed a report.

The police are therefore looking for witnesses who observed the accident or who can provide information about the fleeing driver. The Traffic Commissioner 22 will receive information on 0203 2800.
