New Harley-Davidson helmets for the 2020 season

(Neu-Isenburg, March 9, 2020) In 1976, the time had come for German motorcyclists: wearing a protective helmet became mandatory, and shortly thereafter, anyone who rode „topless“ had to pay a warning fine.
Das war gut so und inzwischen haben alle Biker den Helm längst als wesentlichen Bestandteil der Schutzausrüstung akzeptiert. Nach etwa fünf Jahren sollte er gegen ein neues Exemplar getauscht werden, denn helmets altern, selbst wenn sie wenig benutzt werden und man es ihnen nicht ansieht.

Boom! Audio Full-Face Helmet
Für Tech-Fans gibt’s 2020 eine neue Version des Boom! Audio Full-Face Helmet (98208-20EX, RRP: €621) with double D-ring fastening, ventilation openings, and removable and washable lining. What makes it unique is its integrated 30K Bluetooth communication system, including powerful headphones and microphone, as well as FM radio. Without annoying cables, you can talk freely, navigate, and enjoy your favorite playlist. The system also connects the rider with the passenger or—in a closed mesh group—with up to 16 other users within a range of up to two kilometers.
What all of the helmets described have in common is their fiberglass shell, which makes them particularly resistant to environmental influences. But regardless of which model and design you choose, there is no substitute for advice and fitting at an authorized dealer, because a helmet must fit properly in order to protect you. Spend at least ten minutes wearing the helmet in the store to make sure that it fits snugly without pressing.
