New Harley-Davidson helmets for the 2020 season
- A helmet should be replaced after around five years
- Harley-Davidson offers new jet, modular and full-face helmets

(Neu-Isenburg, March 9, 2020) In 1976 the time had come for German motorcyclists: wearing a protective helmet became compulsory and a little later anyone who got into the saddle “topless” had to pay a fine.
That was a good thing and all bikers have long since accepted the helmet as an essential part of their protective equipment. After about five years it should be exchanged for a new one, because helmets age, even if they are used little and you can't tell.

What all of the helmets described have in common is their fiberglass shell, which makes them particularly resistant to environmental influences. But no matter which type and design you choose: there is no substitute for advice and fitting at an authorized dealer, because a helmet has to fit if it is to protect. At least ten helmeted minutes in the store to check whether everything is tight without pressing.
