Extensive model upgrades at Harley-Davidson
- ABS and numerous other new features in the Sportster model family
- Twin Cam 103 engine (1690 cm³) now in all Dyna models

Numerous innovations characterize the Harley-Davidson model year 2014, which features 25 characterful standard motorcycles, an extraordinary trike and four elaborately customized CVO special models.
An extensive Model maintenance has benefited the Sportster models, which are now decelerated by a new brake system with new brake discs, callipers and pistons.
After all other Harley model series had already been successively equipped with ABS in previous years, the engineers integrated the anti-lock braking system for 2014 just as discreetly in the classic Sportster look. ABS is available as an option for the Iron 883, while the other seven Sportster models now have ABS-assisted braking as standard.
The 2014 Sportster models also have a new exhaust system and a new vehicle electrical system with CAN data bus system as well as new ergonomically optimized handlebar fittings. A new LCD display is also used in the speedometer, which functions as a gear and rev counter, among other things.
Immobilizer and Alarm system are used to Keyless ignition system for keyless starting of the engine. Eleven new color variants are available for the model family, with prices starting at €8,955*.
In addition to the Sportster models, Harley-Davidson has also revised the Dyna family.
After the 1,690 cc Twin Cam 103 has already been used in other Dyna models, the 2014 also the Dyna models Street Bob and Super Glide Custom powered by this particularly high-torque V-twin.
The popular Dyna Fat Bob has undergone extensive model upgrades.
The new tank graphics and the new, compact lines of the rear fender with integrated LED tail light immediately catch the eye.
The seat was given a more comfortable shape and a new sporty cover.
The tank console and the silencers have also been redesigned. The machine rolls on new black, slotted 16-inch alloy wheels with laser-engraved graphics. Numerous other components have also been finished in deep black. The bike, which is available from €16,885*, is offered in Vivid Black and Black Denim as well as in the new colors Amber Whiskey and San Cammo Denim.
A new addition to the portfolio of the particularly elegantly converted „Custom Vehicle Operations“ Motorcycles is the CVO Softail Deluxe (30.435,- €*). For this premium bike, produced in strictly limited numbers, Harley-Davidson has combined the clear lines of the Softail chassis and an exquisite Art Deco paint finish with a high-performance V2 and clever technology for the long journey.
In addition, the exclusive Tri Glide Ultra Classic (from €36,385*) has been added to the German sales program. Unlike converted two-wheelers, the Harley-Davidson Trike was designed from the outset as a three-wheeled vehicle and also benefits from the numerous innovations of the 2014 Touring generation.
All 2014 models can be ordered now. At the „Open House“, the open day at the German authorized dealers on September 14, you can already familiarize yourself with numerous new products.
