THE EUROPEAN BIKE WEEK 2021 WELCOMES YOUR GUESTS FROM SEPTEMBER 7TH TO 12TH
To ensure the fun and safety of all visitors, Harley-Davidson offers them a tailor-made program
OXFORD, (08/13/2021) - Harley-Davidson confirms that the European Bike Week will take place from September 7th to 12th, 2021 at Lake Faak in the Austrian state of Carinthia.
Working closely with local authorities, the tourism team and executive management, the company has put together a program of events to welcome all motorcyclists and fans who share a common passion for Harley-Davidson.
The event will allow attendees to immerse themselves in the Harley-Davidson lifestyle while safely interacting outdoors and in small groups.
“We are very pleased to be able to host European Bike Week again in 2021,” explains Kolja Rebstock, Harley-Davidsons Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa. “After disappointingly having to postpone the event in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are determined to be represented at Lake Faak this year.
We are fortunate to have committed partners in Carinthia who have supported us in finding ways to hold a safe event, because of course that remains our top priority.”
All guests are cordially invited to the following program items:
- Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Expo 2021: an exhibition area featuring the latest 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including the all-new Sportster S and Pan America. Custom bikes will also be on display.
- Demo Rides: Visitors have the opportunity to take test rides on the latest Harley-Davidson models. Representatives of all model families are at the start, including iconic Grand American touring models, powerful cruisers and the brand new Pan America adventure touring bike. In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, anyone wishing to test drive a motorcycle must bring their own clothing (helmet, jacket and gloves). Registration is required and advance reservation is recommended.
- Harley-Davidson Merchandise: Here you can find the latest Harley-Davidson clothing and numerous accessories.
- HOG Meet-up Zone: A special area is reserved for HOG members. This is where you can meet and enjoy a special range of goods and refreshments.
The timing and the 3-G rule
The European Bike Week is open from Tuesday, September 7th to Sunday, September 12th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and no demo rides). To enter the Harley-Davidson Zone, proof of compliance with the 3G rule (vaccinated, tested or recovered) is required.
Proof that you have been vaccinated, tested negative or have recovered from Covid-19 can be provided by the EU digital Covid certificate, an equivalent Covid passport or an official test certificate. There will be no parade, no evening entertainment and no ride-in custom bike show in 2021 for safety reasons. These program items are planned again for 2022.
Harley-Davidson recognizes its responsibility for the health of visitors and will review any restrictions on gatherings and travel that may be re-imposed in Austria and surrounding countries.
