OLDENBURG MOTORCYCLE SHOW 2024
Spring awakening for two-wheel enthusiasts
MOTORCYCLE SHOW on February 3 and 4 in Oldenburg
The short days of the cold season are painful for every biker. Quickly putting on your gear in the evening and clearing your head on two wheels—this often falls through due to the weather. Dark clouds alone are not a threat, but riding in the snow makes a rider's heart freeze faster.
So it's good when the days slowly start getting longer again, the first rays of sunshine tickle your skin, and you can ring in the new season together with like-minded people at the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024 in Oldenburg. This coming weekend, interested parties will once again have the opportunity to meet the region's established dealers, who will be stocking their stands with the latest models, lots of equipment, accessories, and other gadgets. The trade fair's offerings will be rounded off by Mike Auffenberg's legendary stunt show, a wheelie simulator, and the second edition of the MOTORRAD SHOW Custom Bike Contest. The Custom Moped Contest, created in collaboration with the Mofa Drag Race Team, will also celebrate its premiere.
Paint and chalk
Anyone who wants to start the season at full throttle with a new machine after the winter break will find many new models from Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen at the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024. „In addition to the Honda Babyfireblade CBR 500 R Model 24 and the Honda CBR 650 R,“ reveals Nico Gerull, Managing Director of Honda Motorrad Huchting Bremen, „there will be a special highlight that visitors to the motorcycle show in the Weser-Ems-Hallen Oldenburg can look forward to.“
„The custom conversion of a Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R) stands out in particular thanks to its original Porsche paintwork in chalk gray. Driving through Bremen traffic at dusk, I came to a stop next to a Porsche in this very same unique paintwork. After congratulating the driver on his magnificent car, I learned about the uniquely beautiful color, which laid the foundation for the idea behind the customized Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R) model. I am excited to hear what visitors to the trade fair have to say about it,“ says Nico Gerull.
Speaking of paintwork: Honda's best-selling scooter, the 2024 SH 125 i, comes in vetro green – a very special paint finish that is a feast for the eyes with its transparent green color. „This shade has never been seen before,“ beams Nico Gerull.
PS candies and highlights
Honda enthusiasts of the renowned 750 Hornet can look forward to another potential motorcycle treat. The bike is being rebuilt with great attention to detail by the team at Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen and is set to make a stylish appearance at this year's MOTORRAD SHOW in Oldenburg. And if the 750 Hornet misses its debut, it will be showing off its splendor at the latest on the company's 30th anniversary this year.
The team led by Nico Gerull from Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen invites all motorcycle enthusiasts to test ride the models on display at the 2024 Motorcycle Show. Visitors will once again be spoiled with an impressive range of Honda models. Even younger riders aged 16 and over or holders of an A1 or B196 driver's license will find the Honda CB 125 R with 125 cc displacement to be just the right machine to get started.
There are also suitable enduro bikes for travel enthusiasts. The lightweight Honda Africa Twin models with a DCT dual-clutch transmission (automatic) and the Honda Transall, one of the best-selling motorcycles in Germany, offer beginners and novice riders the ideal riding experience for longer distances.
By the way: to do something good for your bike during the winter months, you can take advantage of the winter storage service offered by Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen.
True passion
When talking to Nico Gerull, it's impossible to miss his passion for the Honda brand. As a true fan of motorcycle racing legend and world champion Nicky Hayden, his passion for riding his own motorcycle was ignited in 2009. „Motorcycle racing literally blew me away,“ says Nico Gerull, who will never forget his first ride on a Honda CBR 600 R.
Having started as a salesperson at Motorrad Huchting Bremen in 2011, he took over the management during the coronavirus pandemic. It was a difficult time, but he has never regretted it. True to the motto „nothing ventured, nothing gained,“ he has continued to run the business with a lot of horsepower and his heart in the right place. „I enjoy my job more than anything else and it gives me the greatest pleasure,“ says Nico Gerull with a smile.
Mud lovers and adventurers
Long-established motorcycle dealers will also be present at MOTORRAD SHOW 2024: for example, H. Freese GmbH from Westerstede will be expanding the trade fair in the Weser-Ems-Hallen Oldenburg with a representative range of BMW Motorrad products featuring high-class bikes. For mud lovers and adventurers, the new R 1300 GS in four different model variants is just the right bike to explore the versatility of motorcycling off the beaten track at full throttle. With ease and riding pleasure, every route becomes a special kind of riding experience.
On the roads of Africa
Experience the thrill of riding the new R 1300 GS with 145 hp on unfamiliar terrain. If your blood isn't pumping fast enough, the Follow The Trails tours of the Int. GS Trophy 2024 in Namibia are just the thing for you. BMW Freese offers a 6-day riding experience that will make the hearts of motorcycle heroes beat faster. Experienced riders can put their skills to the test on secret routes through gorges, riverbeds, and Africa's incomparably beautiful landscape.
Well-being at the touch of a button
When it comes to customization, there are no limits with this bike. If, for example, you want to create a one-of-a-kind R18, the team at BMW Freese in Westerstede is the right place for you. „Customer satisfaction and the implementation of customer wishes are our top priority,“ says branch manager Arno Simon. „We want our customers to identify with their bike right from the start and experience pure feel-good factor on their BMW the moment they press the start button.“.
BMW Motorrad Freese from Westerstede has many more models in store for visitors to the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024. From sports bikes to heritage bikes to tourers. Surprises and new discoveries are guaranteed. If you don't have the right outfit yet, you can get advice on the right riding gear at the BMW Freese stand.
All in all, visitors to the trade fair can look forward to a well-rounded program. The fair is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Holders of tickets purchased in advance online from Nordwest-Ticket can enter the halls faster via the Fastlane.
