Barbed wire, obstacle walls, mud, rope parcours, fire, mountains and hills, or even large stones in the way. It's adventurous for non-athletes. But even Paul has climbed over one such wall.

The race also offers many opportunities for the physically disadvantaged.

Especially in the USA, there are many army veterans, some of whom are not physically intact. It's fun to see how even wheelchair users are pulled through the mud by others, or when one-armed people manage the hurdles just like everyone else. The Spartan Race really is a great way for sports enthusiasts of all kinds to find their limits.

The Spartan Bike

The specifications for the bike are barbed wire, bell, spikes! All things that you wouldn't even be allowed to test ride on the road in Germany. The seating position should be bent forward because the Spartan always fights forwards!

This bike is one of OCC's most spectacular projects. Many fine details have been incorporated into it, and Josh did a particularly good job on his first job for Paul Sr. We'll be seeing a lot more of him this season.
