In Bremerhaven-Lehe, a police patrol noticed a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2021. The driver drove onto Hafenstrasse around 3:30 p.m. Even when accelerating slightly, the motorcycle became noticeably loud. The Harley-Davidson was stopped.
During an inspection it was found that the registration certificate stated a maximum volume of 85 decibels. The police officers carried out a sound level measurement at the office. The value determined here was well over 100 dB. Even an increase of +10 dB is perceived by the human ear as a doubling of the volume.
The vehicle was then seized and presented to an independent expert today. The inspector confirmed the values determined by the police in another sound level measurement. Because an unapproved exhaust system was installed on the Harley, the operating license expired as a result of the changes.

A Harley is loud? Oh how can this happen? An “independent expert”? Those who are only allowed to make special entries? Those who, strangely, give Lotus, Ferrari, etc a release in Germany? So so..
Great police. If you don't have any other problems.
Yes, what is heaven for one person is hell for another person...
