Preparations for the Harley Dome Cologne are in full swing
• Party for Harley's 111th birthday from May 23rd to 25th in Cologne

2014 is the 111th year in the company history of Harley-Davidson, and because the city Since Cologne, with its foolish “fifth season,” has a particularly close relationship with such “unrounded” numbers, it made sense to celebrate a huge birthday party in the Rhenish metropolis: Cologne is paying homage from Friday, May 23rd to Sunday, May 25th the US brand and the pure fun of life. Already on Friday evenings, Harley-Davidson is celebrated in pubs, clubs and restaurants for the “hundredth”. Hank Davison is on stage at the Meet & Greet Party at the Hard Rock Cafe The Brauhaus Sion invites you to a brewery tour and a film evening and the Hilton , one of the event's partner hotels, serves ice-cold cocktails in its bar specially prepared for the bikers.
On Saturday, the central event area – the Tanzbrunnen directly on the banks of the Rhine – opens its doors from 10 a.m. The view of landmarks such as the cathedral and the old town leaves no doubt that you are in the middle of one of Germany's most popular cities. Visitors can look forward to a large trading area with accessories, fashion and food stands. A whole armada of current Harley models is available for test drives, the ADAC is on site with a rollover simulator and Jeep is presenting itself on an adventure course. A biker couple who want to say yes to each other at the event experiences a personal highlight.
The big parade starts at 12 p.m. over two Rhine bridges and the Cologne rings, with which the motorcyclists demonstrate against intolerance in traffic, and from 2 p.m. Ten Years After, Hank Davison, Heart and Soul and AC/BC will rock the open-air stage . Meanwhile, fans of exclusive motorcycle conversions will get their money's worth at the top-class custom bike show. From 10 p.m. it's chill and party time in the Tanzbrunnen and in the Cologne Beach Club next door. On Sunday the party continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Tanzbrunnen site - accompanied by a live Cologne music program with Kasalla, Cat Ballou and Miljö.
Not only motorcycle fans and bikers of all brands are welcome at the Harley Dome Cologne, but also the citizens and visitors of the cathedral city as well as all lovers of the “American way of life”.
More Harley, more Cologne and more “unrounded” birthdays in one weekend is not possible. Tickets start at 10 euros. Admission is free for children and young people under 16 years of age.
