Review – Magic Bike Rüdesheim 2022

The Magic Bike Rüdesheim is probably the most beautiful Harley-Davidson meeting between Hamburg and the European Bike Week at Lake Faak . After a two-year Corona break, things have also broken on the beautiful Rhine. The Harley community celebrated for four days with over 30,000 visitors. In Rüdesheim, however, you get the impression that it wasn't just the Harley riders who were celebrating, but the whole city.

A main road is closed, the city center is full and it's best to book your hotel room a year in advance. There's really something going on here, even the authorities and especially the police are fully involved. Logically, controls are also carried out, that's part of it, but they support the event significantly, I've seen that differently in other places. For example, the police motorcycle squad from Hesse and many colleagues support the great parade , and the riot police ensure security in the large area.

20 bands provided plenty of good entertainment

A highlight for the visitors was definitely the band Stahlzeit - Rammstein Tribute Band, with the system they could have filled a stadium with sound, a mega sound backdrop that this band belongs to. Doro Pesch was also at the start , with her unique heavy metal voice putting everyone in the party mood.

The weather was set for sunshine, on Friday the motto was to arrive, set up a proper Harley-Davidson parking formation and head into the fray to meet up with old biker friends. Sometimes we hadn't seen each other for a long time and now we finally started again.

The Magic Bike Rüdesheim was a complete success, the entry debate has long since died down here, it was clear that it wouldn't work in this form otherwise. The beer and Jack Daniel's prices are still being discussed on social media, let's see what comes of it.

A great fireworks display was also part of it, it was a spectacular show, great all around. Rüdesheim is a beautiful old town, if you also like good wine or Asbach in addition to Harley-Davidson , you can book yourself a few more days in the beautiful place, it's worth it!

The next Magic Bike Rüdesheim is expected to take place again on the long Corpus Christi weekend from June 8th to 11th, 2023 .
