Review - Magic Bike Rüdesheim 2022
The Magic Bike Rüdesheim is probably the most beautiful Harley-Davidson meeting zwischen Hamburg und der European Bike Week at Lake Faak. Nach zweijähriger Corona-Pause ist auch am schönen Rhein der Knoten geplatzt. Mit über 30.000 Besuchern feierte die Harley-Gemeinde vier Tage durch. In Rüdesheim hat man allerdings den Eindruck, das nicht nur die Harley Fahrer am feiern waren, sondern die ganze Stadt.
A closed main road, the city center is full and it's best to book your hotel room a year in advance. There is a lot going on here, even the authorities and especially the police are fully involved. Of course there are also checks, that's part of it, but they support the event considerably, which I've seen differently in other places. The police motorcycle squadron from Hesse, for example, supports the great parade with many colleagues, and the riot police provide security in the large area.
20 bands provided plenty of good entertainment
A highlight for the visitors was definitely the band Steel age - Rammstein Tribute Band, with the sound system they could have filled a stadium, a mega sound backdrop that belongs to this band. Also at the start was Doro Pesch, with her unique heavy metal voice gets everyone in the party mood.
The weather was set for sunshine, the motto on Friday was to arrive, set up a proper Harley-Davidson parking formation and off into the hustle and bustle to meet old biker friends. Some of them hadn't seen each other for a long time and now it was finally time to get going again.
The Magic Bike Rüdesheim was a complete success, the entry debate has long since died out here, people have realized that otherwise it wouldn't work in this form. The beer and Jack Daniel's prices are still being discussed in the social media, let's see what comes of it.
A great fireworks display was also part of it, it was a spectacular show, great all round. Rüdesheim is a beautiful old town, who wants to see Harley-Davidson If you also like good wine or Asbach, you can book a few days longer in this beautiful place, it's worth it!
The next Magic Bike Rüdesheim is expected to take place again on the long Corpus Christi-weekend from June 08 to 11, 2023 take place.
