A success despite bad weather
Unfortunately, the weather gods only cooperated to a limited extent in Dresden, but over 1,100 motorcycles of all brands came to the demo on the Heavy Metal Bike Day event site at the Rinne. The Dresden Chapter Germany registered and organized the rolling demo against motorcycle driving bans in Dresden.
Dresden Chapter Germany organized the demo
Even though many people always complain about the Hogis, they did a great job, as you can see in the video, otherwise we would have had one less demo.
A demo is never a quick thing; someone is always in charge and has to sort out the paperwork. In addition, many bloggers are usually needed to keep the roads safe; this is regulated differently from state to state. So just thank you to the chapter and maybe it will be a good template for others.
Because there is still a hard road ahead of us, there is still only political banter and there is a lot at stake for us.
It's not just about driving bans!
Various regulations are being planned, it's not just about driving bans on weekends, further regulations won't be long in coming, whether it's the requirement to wear gloves or safety clothing when driving.
However, we motorcyclists have rights and we now have to enforce some of them, at the forefront of which are the guard rails, which have no protective rails for motorcyclists, a stop to bitumen patching and no regulations on how a motorcyclist has to dress, we are probably all old enough for self-determination.
It's also about the next generation!
And the demos are also about the next generation. Should motorcycling only take place in the third world, or how do you imagine that?
Some more statements at the end of the video
As can be heard in the statements, there is hardly any trust in politicians, some of whom approach the matter with sensitivity, seemingly under the control of ignorant people, the various demands that restrict our freedom are to be enforced.
An entire industry is being destroyed here, and other trades in retail and catering are also being affected, some of which you can hear at the end of the video.
We cannot accept this, so take part in future demonstrations peacefully and calmly, just as you did in the last ones.
In the video you can see an older biker couple who were there despite the bad weather at the demo and raised the flag. They are our role models because they don't just do it for themselves, but also for the next generations, because what are they supposed to do? Will still be able to drive in 10 years if everything becomes more and more restricted.
Media like the Bild newspaper have so far avoided reporting nationally! Time for protest!
I was thinking about simply canceling picture subscription on August 15th better spent BIKER UNION eV or the Federal Association of Motorcyclists eV We urgently need more presence, which we can only get together.
