I look forward to welcoming you to Harleysite.de with a brand new service: the Ride Planner! If you are planning your next motorcycle tour you now have a digital travel assistant at your side that has been specially developed for us bikers and is available to you around the clock.
What can the Ride Planner do?
Whether you are planning a complete trip or just need some specific information - the assistant is there for you. Routes, Alpine passes, hotels, campsites or information on events? No problem! You'll get personalized answers that are tailored to your plans.
Do you want to travel from Hamburg to the European Bike Week set off? Are you looking for a great day trip along the Nockalm Road? Or do you want to know which hotels on the Lake Faak have a secure garage for your bike? The Ride Planner knows all about it.
The variety of topics is huge. The assistant will help you with:
- Route planning: The most beautiful routes and detailed information on Alpine passes (hairpin bends, tolls, travel times).
- GPX downloads: For the most common and popular tours.
- Accommodations: Recommendations for hotels and campsites.
- Practical: Weather, travel times, equipment, packing lists, bike transportation, rental bikes, insurance and tolls.
First-hand recommendations
The special thing about the Ride Planner is that it draws on my personal experience on two wheels and the knowledge of my partners. If you ask specifically, you will get the best hotel recommendations, which are tailored to our biker requirements, if available at the location.
Perfect for events and trade fairs
Der Ride Planner ist auch euer idealer Begleiter für Events. Fahrt ihr zum Beispiel zur „motorcycles Dortmund 2026“? Der Assistent liefert euch als Messe-Guide Infos zu Hotels nahe der Westfalenhallen, zur Anreise vom Bahnhof, zu Taxikosten, Parkmöglichkeiten und Öffnungszeiten. Dieses Konzept werde ich in Zukunft auf viele weitere Events ausweiten.
Why a limit of 50 requests per day?
To ensure that the Ride Planner remains accessible to all users and can exist as a permanent project, I have set a limit of 50 requests per user per day. It costs money to run, and every request incurs server costs. But don't worry: 50 requests are easily enough for really detailed tour planning!
How it works
You can find the Ride Planner right here on Harleysite.de. Simply enter your starting location or click on one of the suggested questions.
A little tip: The more specific your question, the better the answer. Instead of just typing „EBW“, try typing: „From Hamburg to EBW at Faaker See, country road, 2 days, with hotels and GPX“. You will be surprised by the result!
The Ride Planner is a project that will grow with us. New functions, more event guides and additional tour suggestions will be added regularly. Try it out - I'm always happy to receive your feedback and suggestions!
