Harley-Davidson Road King Special 2025 - The classic tourer with modern features
The Harley-Davidson Road King Special The 2025 model year combines classic design with modern performance and is aimed at drivers who appreciate both style and performance right from the get-go.
The Road King Special impresses with its black design, that extends from the front to the exhaust. The elongated saddlebags fit seamlessly into the silhouette and offer additional storage space. The Mini Ape Handlebar ensures an upright and confident sitting position that can be individually adjusted.
The Tank-mounted analog speedometers With its nostalgic flair, the cockpit keeps things clear and focuses attention on the road. The classic Road King look is enhanced by the striking headlight cover with bright LED lighting supplemented by, which ensures optimum visibility when driving at night.
For the 2025 model year, the Road King Special is available in the following colors:
- Billiard Gray
- Vivid Black
- Whiskey Fire
Prices start ex works, at €28,940 for Billiard Gray and €29,640 for the other color options.
At the heart of the Road King Special is the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 V-Twin engine, which is designed for powerful acceleration and confident cruising on the highway. A sporty air filter and the Black two-in-two exhaust system improve engine performance and give the bike a rich sound. The Brembo brakes offer excellent braking power with direct feedback, while the SHOWA® suspension ensures comfortable handling on different road conditions.
The Road King Special is equipped with cruise control equipped to ensure relaxed long-distance journeys. The combination of classic design and modern technology makes it an ideal choice for drivers looking for the best of both worlds.
My personal impression
The Road King Special 2025 impresses with its blend of traditional Harley-Davidson style and contemporary technology. The black finish gives it a cool elegance that we really like. It is the last model with the tried-and-tested instrument panel and 114 ci engine (1868cc).³), a very powerful engine that is impressive for everyday use as well as longer trips. For me, it is the perfect choice for riders who value aesthetics and touring capability. It has footboards, which give you a very special feeling when cruising in a relaxed manner.
It also has cruise control, which makes for a really comfortable ride, especially on long journeys. It will be the last of its kind, so anyone who wants to own something new in the old style will have to make a quick decision. I don't expect it to still be in production in 2026, but that's just a guess.
