Summertime, and the livin’ was easy

The fourth Rock ’n’ Race ends with a new attendance record

(Bad Tölz, 21.08.2017) Am 12. und 13. August fand zum vierten Mal eine der coolsten Motorradfeten Bayerns statt: Rock ’n’ Race in Bad Tölz – zwei Tage voller Party und Action für Motorradfans und alle, die es werden wollen. Die Macher des Events - the Harley-Davidson Galerie in Gelting near Wolfratshausen and the Jailhouse American Diner - could be highly satisfied, as the 2017 edition of the event exceeded all expectations: Around 10,000 visitors traveled to the Moraltpark to celebrate together in a relaxed atmosphere. Hotels and guesthouses in Bad Tölz and the surrounding area were fully booked.

About 3,200 motorcycles, most of them „made in the USA“, guaranteed sonorous „good vibrations“ around the epicenter of the party. To the great delight of all fans, the weather was mostly good with temperatures of up to 30 degrees. The large dealer mile offered everything to do with motorcycles in general and Harley-Davidson in particular.

The machines from the land of unlimited possibilities were available for free. Test drives available - an offer that the guests were only too happy to accept: The test ride team counted more than 240 „demo rides“. For two days, the Harley-Davidson Gallery staff were on hand to offer advice and talk shop - led by Managing Director Dipl. Ing. Wolfram Rummel, who clearly enjoyed the hustle and bustle surrounding the brand.

„We are delighted that this event has now taken place for the fourth time and that people are now familiar with it far beyond the district and state borders. The quality of the event is also reflected in the numerous top-class custom bikes that were on display on the grounds.“ The Isartal Chapter of the Harley Owners Group, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, also had reason to celebrate, as numerous visitors took the opportunity to explore the best motorcycle roads in the beautiful surrounding area on one of the chapter's guided tours.

The Jailhouse American Diner and several other caterers took care of the hunger and thirst in their usual manner. And - how could it be otherwise at an event with the word „rock“ in its name - the music program was also a massive hit. Rocks N’ Pebbles, United Chrash, Roxxdoxx, Flat Out and Boneshaker were the live bands that got the atmosphere in front of the stage boiling.

After Rock ’n’ Race is before Rock ’n’ Race. If you want to experience the 2018 edition of the event, you should mark the dates August 11-12 in your calendar in red, because Bad Tölz will be shaking for the fifth time.
