The Romania Ride – A country full of myths and legends

The Romania Ride – from August 20 to 29, 2017

Romania is a beautiful country, largely undiscovered and full of surprises. I visited for the first time in 2011 on my Harley, full of preconceptions, but I was quickly proven wrong – the people there are very hospitable. Poverty is certainly an issue, but not everyone in this country is poor. Young people in particular are striving to achieve European standards, and the country is well on its way to changing. It's something different from the usual motorcycle tours. Anyone who has been here has something to talk about that not everyone knows about yet!

The natural surroundings are indescribable, and the Transfăgărășan Highway is the absolute highlight of the motorcycle tour, offering bikers breathtaking views and fantastic curves along the route.

Transylvania Harley Tour

A special nature experience awaits you in Romania.

Romania (Romanian: România) is a semi-presidential republic located in the geographical border region between Central and Southeastern Europe. The country lies on the Black Sea and extends westward across the Carpathian Mountains to the Pannonian Plain. Romania borders five countries: Bulgaria to the south, Serbia and Hungary to the west, Ukraine to the north, Moldova to the east, and Ukraine again to the east.

The modern Romanian state was created in 1859 through the union of the principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia. In 1918, the territory of the state was expanded to include Transylvania.
