SW-MOTECH has developed the two side bags LH1 and LH2 in the Legend Gear series exclusively for the current Harley-Davidson Softail models: The bags combine the low weight of a saddle bag with the dimensional stability of a suitcase and are the German answer to the question of one functional and high-quality luggage solution for Harley-Davidson.

Both bags offer sufficient storage space for luggage with a total of 45 liters, distributed over 25.5 liters on the left side and 19.5 liters on the right of the driver.

Dimensionally stable ABS plastic and reinforced side elements protect the contents from damage and make the bags look good even unpacked. The robust surface with elaborate diamond quilting made of 600D polyester and grained artificial leather is easy to clean and is weather and UV-resistant.

When you arrive at your destination, the bags can be removed from the associated SLH side carrier in two easy steps: Inside the bag, you release the quick-release fastener with a quarter turn, which also serves as an anti-theft device.

The quick release secures the bag with the QUICK-LOCK system, which is also installed on other SW-MOTECH side carriers. The side bag can then simply be pulled out of the side carrier. The matching bag handle allows you to carry the bag comfortably.

A lock on the bag lid prevents unauthorized persons from having it just as easy: it secures the contents and prevents access to the quick-release fastener inside the bag.

Discreet side straps

Once the bags have been removed, the inconspicuous and discreet SLH side carriers remain on the Harley - two 5 mm thick black steel sheets, screwed to the original mounting points on the fender strut. If necessary, a sissy bar or luggage rack from Harley-Davidson can also be combined with the SLH side rack using an adapter kit.

SW-MOTECH offers the new LH1 and LH2 side bags individually or as a set with the corresponding SLH side carriers. The bags are available for almost all Softail models from 2018: Softail Street Bob, Slim, Low Rider, Fat Boy / S, Breakout / S, Deluxe. On the Softail Fat Bob / S models, only the left bag can be mounted due to the vehicle.
