Save the date! Vienna Harley Days

Unlike previously announced, the Vienna Harley Days will take place from May 13 to 15

39 days after Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate Ascension Day. This Thursday is a public holiday in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and many other European countries. In 2010, it falls on May 13.

And the Vienna Harley Days will open their doors in the Austrian capital on May 13th. Unlike originally announced, however, on the following Sunday the engines on the 20,000 m² event area around the huge Ernst Happel Stadium will have to rest due to the Austrian soccer cup final.

Not only will the start of the major motorcycle event be brought forward a day, but the finale will also take place a day earlier, on Saturday, May 15.

{mosgoogle}The program, however, remains unchanged! In the large festival tent city, motorcycle fans will find everything their hearts desire - including a main street where seeing and being seen is celebrated. Driving license holders can hop on a Harley-Davidson or Buell for a free and extensive test ride - although a certain risk of addiction cannot be ruled out.

Hot rock, pop and blues bands take to the mic on the large open-air stage, and on the stunt mile, two-wheeler pro Rainer Schwarz performs motorcycle acrobatics that any normal biker would be better off avoiding. The stoppies, wheelies and burnouts will leave spectators all the more breathless!

At the highlight, the big motorcycle parade, all motorcyclists from near and far are invited to a tour along the famous Ringstrasse, which is closed for a short time especially for this purpose.

In short: the Vienna Harley Days are not to be missed. Simply mark May 13 and cross out May 15 - and off you go to the Danube metropolis!
