Accident involving three vehicles: three injured and total write-offs – Seligenstadt

Witnesses wanted!

Seligenstadt: For reasons unknown at this time, an accident occurred on Dudenhöfer Straße on Saturday evening, leaving one person seriously injured and two others with minor injuries. At around 8:50 p.m., a 53-year-old VW driver turned from Rhönring onto Dudenhöfer Straße and collided with a 29-year-old Harley-Davidson rider.

The violent collision with the VW threw the young man against a parked Opel belonging to a 21-year-old woman on the opposite side of the street, damaging her vehicle as well (property damage approximately $2,000). The Harley rider was seriously injured in the accident and had to be flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter. The young woman suffered shock and had to be treated briefly in a hospital.

The driver of the VW suffered minor injuries. He was also taken to a hospital by emergency services for further medical treatment. The exact circumstances of the accident are now the subject of an ongoing investigation.

Both the VW and the motorcycle were totaled, with total damages estimated at €52,000.
