Accident with three vehicles involved: three injured and total loss – Seligenstadt
Witnesses wanted!
Seligenstadt: For unknown reasons, there was an accident on Dudenhöfer Strasse on Saturday evening with one seriously injured and two slightly injured people. A 53-year-old VW driver turned from Rhönring onto Dudenhöfer Straße around 8:50 p.m. and collided with a 29-year-old Harley-Davidson driver.
As a result of the violent collision with the VW, the young man was thrown against a 21-year-old woman's parked Opel on the opposite side of the street and her vehicle was also damaged (property damage around 2,000 euros). The Harley driver was seriously injured in the accident and had to be flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. The young woman suffered shock and had to be briefly looked after in a clinic.
The driver of the VW suffered minor injuries. He was also taken to a clinic by emergency services for further medical care. The exact course of the accident is now the subject of ongoing investigations.
Both the VW and the two-wheeler were totaled, with total damage estimated at 52,000 euros.
