Police seek further witnesses after accident between BMW and Harley-Davidson – Seligenstadt

(jm) The police are looking for further witnesses following an accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Frankfurter Straße and Eisenbahnstraße. According to current information, a 50-year-old man from Zellhausen was driving his BMW X 2 along Eisenbahnstraße and wanted to turn left into Frankfurter Straße at the junction. Traffic is said to have been stopped at the stop line in front of the railroad crossing.

A 56-year-old man from Klein-Welzheim was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Frankfurter Straße. He apparently drove past the vehicles that were stopped due to traffic. This resulted in a collision between the BMW and the Harley-Davidson. The motorcyclist fell and suffered minor injuries.

The vehicles sustained damage amounting to €1,500. In order to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident, the police are asking any further witnesses, particularly those who can provide information about the „traffic light color,“ to call 06182 8930-0.
