News in brief – Current status on the production stop at Harley-Davidson
It was now a week ago when the first news about the production and delivery stop at Harley-Davidson swept across the pond.
And you may not think it's possible, but so far there's no follow-up information about what's going on. Harley-Davidson's information policy is at its lowest point, nobody is allowed to say anything or simply knows nothing and nothing comes from the headquarters in Milwaukee.
There is speculation, but nobody can do anything with half-truths. It primarily affects customers who are waiting for the Harley-Davidson they have ordered. If the company gets the matter sorted out within the next week, they will certainly be able to cope with the delay.
If the bike is still by sea, it is usually not relevant anyway unless the problem persists. However, it is incomprehensible why people keep such a secret about the production and delivery stop. It would be better if the company kept its customers informed.
I assume we'll know exactly what's going on within the next week.
