Harley-Davidson is recalling almost 7,000 2011 model year Softails back to workshops worldwide.
This applies to models that were built between June 7th and October 8th, 2010 and have an anti-theft alarm system. Moisture can penetrate the electrical system, which can cause the engine to stall while driving.
According to the manufacturer, 3,392 vehicles are affected in Europe; the proportion of motorcycles registered in Germany is still being determined. The brand's authorized dealers will carry out a free conversion.
