THE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE JOB OF A LIFETIME AT HARLEY-DAVIDSON® IS JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY

If you still want to apply, you have to hurry, because the application deadline is March 20, 2015

OXFORD (March 11, 2015) Some applicants described it as the „adventure of a lifetime“, others simply called it their „dream job“ or „an incredible opportunity to discover the world“. The response among European motorcycle fans was unprecedented. Harley-Davidson® has received more than 5000 applications so far. Time is now running out, and the company is encouraging all procrastinators to apply one last time at www.h-d.com/riderwanted, as the deadline for applications is March 20 and the winners will be announced in April.

In the first three days after this job offer of a different kind was published last month, Harley-Davidson received an application every two minutes. No wonder, after all, the aim is to find a male or female motorcyclist to join the 2015 „Discover More“ tour, perhaps the greatest trip of their life. All those who are just now pricking up their ears should send an application to Harley-Davidson quickly, otherwise they will miss out on the once-in-a-lifetime chance of their ultimate dream job.

2015Hd11 Discover_More_Rider_Wanted_2If you want to take part, you not only need a valid European identity card or passport or permission to travel and work in the EU. They also need to be a passionate storyteller, because the aim is to motivate other people to embark on similar adventures.

The chosen one will become the star of his own road movie when he sets off on a two-month trip across Europe in summer 2015, with Harley-Davidson covering the travel costs. His tasks will include finding the best motorcycle routes in Europe, putting them under his wheels and sharing his experiences with the rest of the world on social media channels and a website set up especially for this purpose. The lucky winner gets to keep the Harley-Davidson® Street Glide™ provided for the trip forever and also receives a prize of 25,000 euros.

So far, drivers from 27 countries have applied. The company received the most applications from Spain. In second and third place are Germany and France. Almost one in three applicants opted for the elaborate version and produced a video to convince Harley-Davidson that they were the right person for the job.
