Now time is running out, and the company is encouraging all procrastinators one last time to apply at www.hd.com/riderwanted, because the deadline for participation ends on March 20th, and who will be able to start the adventure will be announced in April .
In the first three days after this job offer with a difference was published last month, Harley-Davidson . No wonder, after all, it's about finding a male or female motorcyclist who will set off on the “Discover More” tour in 2015, perhaps the greatest journey of his life. Anyone who wants to take part not only needs a valid European ID card or passport or permission to travel and work in the EU. He also has to be a passionate storyteller, because ultimately the point is to motivate other people to go on similar adventures.
The chosen one will become the star of his own road movie when he sets off on a two-month trip across Europe in the summer of 2015, with Harley-Davidson covering the travel costs. His tasks include finding and riding the best motorcycle routes in Europe and sharing his experiences with the rest of the world on social media channels and a website set up specifically for this purpose. The lucky person will be able to keep the Harley-Davidson® Street Glide™ provided for the trip forever and will also receive a bonus of 25,000 euros.
So far, drivers from 27 countries have applied. The company received most of its applications from Spain. Germany and France are in second and third place. Almost one in three applicants chose the elaborate version and produced a video to convince Harley-Davidson that they were the right person for the job.
