- Harley-Davidson celebrates its 115th anniversary
- Events, parties and biker parties from Sylt to Mallorca

(Neu-Isenburg, 29.01.2018) In the years after 1900, when motorization was still in its infancy, motorcycle manufacturers sprang up like mushrooms. While US suppliers such as California, Marsh and Yale have long been forgotten today, many other brands celebrated an astonishing resurrection years after their financial demise when clever investors remembered the former euphony of their name.

Different Harley-Davidson. The manufacturer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is the only US manufacturer that has stood the test of time and continuously produced motorcycles - for 115 years now. Naturally, this needs to be celebrated. That's why a number of Harley parties in 2018 are dedicated to the company's anniversary, with plenty of good vibrations guaranteed with petrol talks, demo rides, music and entertainment.

The event kicks off from May 31 to June 3 with the Magic Bike Rüdesheim, where one hot live act follows another in the heart of the motorcycle paradise and UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Middle Rhine Valley. On the second weekend in June, Harley fans are spoiled for choice: while some are drawn to the sunny Golfe de Saint-Tropez, where Simple Minds will be playing the H.O.G. Euro Festival rock, the others enjoy the Summer Party the incomparable charm of Germany's number one island of longing, Sylt. At the same time, the Benelux H.O.G. Rally in La Roche-en-Ardenne, Belgium, and the Kick-off event to the 2018 edition of the Charity tour Austria. From June 22 to 24, Europe's largest biker city event will take place for the 15th time: On the 40,000 square meter site at the wholesale market and with a perfect view of the Hanseatic city's landmarks, the Hamburg Harley Days to the north of Germany.

Two weeks later, the Harley community celebrates for the first time in Prague. From July 5 to 8, it's not just any party, but „the“ official European party for the 115th birthday of Harley-Davidson. Thousands of bikes will make the asphalt of the Czech capital vibrate. For the second time, the motomobile community will meet in Saxony - from August 3 to 5 at the Dresden Harley Days. Thanks to its radiant beauty, the state capital is worth a visit in itself and the Saxon Elbland region is likely to remind bikers strikingly of Tuscany.

The spectacular industrial backdrop of the LWL Industrial Museum Henrichshütte in Hattingen exudes a completely different charm, where on August 5 the Harley Meeting Ruhrpott takes place. The 2018 edition of the Charity Tour Austria kicks off from August 10 to 15. And while the chrome and steel convoy rolls through the Alpine republic for a good cause, the festival will take place on August 11 and 12 in Bad Tölz in Upper Bavaria. Harley Rock ’n’ Race will take place. Nomen est omen: blues, rockabilly and rock ’n’ roll will immediately get your legs moving. If you want to be in the USA when the company celebrates its birthday, you should make a note of the weekend from August 29 to September 2.

Celebrating in Milwaukee, the hometown of Harley-Davidson, promises to be an unforgettable experience for V-Twin fans. In the first full week of September, the European Bike Week the series of 2018 events on our continent. With good reason, Faak is now a household name for Harley riders worldwide. If you don't ride here, it's your own fault. And then there's no more motorcycling? No, not quite, because there is still SKS-Reisen. The Westerwald two-wheeler professionals, who have been partners of Harley-Davidson Germany GmbH for years, are extending the season in October to include the Rick's Mountain Run in sunny Catalonia and in November around the popular Mallorca Bike Week. Both events are designed as an „all-round carefree package“ including motorcycle transportation, just like the Algarve Run offered by SKS-Reisen in June. One thing is certain: there is no doubt that everyone will find what they are looking for in this extensive event portfolio!
