The German and Austrian finalists in the „Battle of the Kings“ contest have been announced

- 200 dealerships compete in the fourth „Battle of the Kings“ contest
- Finalists from Germany and Austria determined by online voting

(Neu-Isenburg, 04.04.2018) The term individuality refers to the uniqueness of a person or thing. Harley riders know immediately what is meant by this, because after all, each of them designs their motorcycle individually - as a reflection of their own personality.

That was the case decades ago and nothing will change in the future. When it comes to customizing a Milwaukee-Iron, it is usually the authorized dealers who are in demand. And these professional customizers have once again put their skills to the test - in the fourth „Battle of the Kings“ contest, in which more than 200 dealers from Australia, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Norway, Mexico and South Africa took part. Last winter, the dealers had time to put an absolutely unique motorcycle on its wheels. The rules: The base machine had to be a dark custom bike, the entire customization could not cost more than 6,000 euros and the result had to be eligible for registration.

In February 2018, the time had come: the completed machines were presented in all their glory on the web and the voting phase began. Thousands of fans in Germany and Austria also took part in the online voting and four weeks later, three finalists from each country were chosen: for Germany, the bikes from Augsburg, Böblingen and Würzburg made it to the final. Austria is represented by the bikes from St. Pölten, Klagenfurt and Vienna.

Westpoint Harley-Davidson Augsburg dedicated its Fat Bob conversion to the comic character Cyclops and emphasized the aggressive character of the bike even more clearly. Harley-Davidson Stuttgart South reduced and blackened the look of a Forty-Eight, which is now called Black Bullet II. Harley-Davidson Würzburg Village presented its own new custom line on a Street Bob dipped in AMG green. The Austrians were impressed by the Sportster series: all three finalists were based on the Roadster model. The Harley-Davidson dealers St. Pölten and Motodrom transformed it into genuine scramblers, each with a completely unique character, and Fischer's Harley-Davidson Vienna gave it a cool camouflage look straight out of a military picture book.

An expert jury at the Hamburg Harley Days in June will decide which of the three machines will win the race in their country and can call themselves the national Custom King in future. The grand international final will then take place in November at the EICMA in Milan, where all national champions will compete for the crown of international Custom King. Harley-Davidson would like to thank all the fans who cheered and voted and presents the finalists on .
