The Hamburg Harley Days 2018 have started

This coming weekend, the Harley Days 2018 will take place. This year's event will once again take place on the Hamburg wholesale market site. Numerous stands and an extensive music program will provide entertainment in the area on the Elbe. The new route planned for the event has caused quite a stir. Harley-Davidson The parade still crosses the Köhlbrandbrücke, which is a special feeling, but this year the Reeperbahn will no longer be on the route, despite great efforts by the organizer, the red/green political leadership was not willing to give in.

A parade without the world-famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg is really sad, thousands of people used to line this section every year full of expectation. You get the feeling that Hamburg's politicians are continuing to work on uninstalling the event in the city, whereas it used to be on the Holy Spirit Field, right in the heart of Hamburg opposite the Reeperbahn, it has been held at the wholesale market for years.

A compromise that you can live with, but only a compromise. Obviously it is not in the interest of the district administration that the international visitors to the Harley scene take home impulsive experiences, because especially on the other days in the evening hours it was always an exciting experience for the visitors to be there on the Reeperbahn and that despite the fact that in recent years the fun has been considerably restricted by the authorities.
What remains is the site at the wholesale market, where we can still have some fun, we'll see how it develops over the next few years. Now that the event in Cologne is no longer taking place, our eyes are now on Dresden, where we still have the opportunity to overtake the global metropolis of Hamburg in the coming years.
