HARLEY-DAVIDSON CELEBRATED THE HAMBURG HARLEY DAYS WITH 55,000 VISITORS
Bikers, motorcycle fans and friends of the Harley-Davidson brand experienced a special kind of long weekend
FRANKFURT (02.07.2024) - From June 28 to 30, Hamburg experienced a mega party weekend and enthusiastic V-Twin fans who made the pilgrimage to the north of Germany in droves. Around 55,000 visitors populated the 40,000 square meter area at the Grossmarkthallen over the three days of the event, where the organizers had plenty to offer them.
Of course, motorcycles were ridden - both on their own and on the tours organized by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), which led through the Lüneburg Heath and the Alte Land, among other places. In addition, the latest H-D models were not only available to touch, but also for extensive test rides.

Off-road pro Ralf Wiesenfeller taught visitors numerous tricks - such as how to right a tipped-over bike - and right next door, people without a driver's license could get a first impression of riding a Harley-Davidson on the authentic Jumpstart riding simulator.
As music is an inseparable part of the Harley lifestyle, 19 hot bands rocked the two stages. The headliners on the Harley Stage were the acclaimed bands H-Blockx, Motörizer, Jimmy Cornett and the Deadmen and Back:n:Black, all of whose sound really got into your legs. Rock Antenne Hamburg ensured that all the highlights were presented daily on the big screen.
At the Custombike Show powered by Metzeler, a special category was set up for Softail models with Evolution engines. As this popular model series celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024, several authorized dealers brought along their impressive classics in addition to customers. Among the winners of the show, which was co-organized by H.O.G. and awarded cash and non-cash prizes, was Sandor K. from northern Germany, who won the Best of Show title with his machine, which was endowed with 1,000 euros.

The smell of barbecued food wafted into the guests' noses not only from the numerous caterers' stands - after all, the second Hamburg State Barbecue Championships and the barbecue for the Block House Cup took place on the new BBQ Court. Also new was the event area, where the Hamburg Tattoo Days took place. Here, visitors were able to find inspiration for body jewelry and get a tattoo on the spot.
Two professional stuntmen, Maciej DOP Bielicki and Chris Lietsch, provided an extra dose of thrills in their shows. The numerous stalls and tents of authorized dealers and traders lined up along Main Street, where bikes and bikers strolled day and night, invited visitors to relax and store.
The visitors bid farewell to their hosts on Sunday with a large motorcycle parade organized by the H.O.G.. And they are guaranteed to return to the beautiful Hanseatic city - next year, when the Hamburg Harley Days 2025 will be celebrated from June 27 to 29.
