The Hamburg Harley Days are in the starting blocks
Europe's biggest biker city event takes place this weekend
June 28-30 - Construction at the wholesale market has begun
Tomorrow at 12 noon, the gates will once again open for Europe's unique biker city event: the Hamburg Harley Days will take place for the 19th time. Guests from all over the world will be arriving today and tomorrow. Around the Grossmarkthalle, people will once again be buying, riding, feasting, talking petrol and rocking out.
The event concludes on Sunday with the big Harley-Parade, which will be led by numerous guests of honor this year: From ex-stuntwoman Miriam Höller, the East Frisian Mr. T., Keno Veith, Pro Kitesurfer and 8-time German Champion Linus Erdmann, soccer coach Michael Oenning, actor and model Angelo Carlucci all the way to cult conkers Fabian Zahrt. Also Actors Till Demtrøder is with his coastal district colleague Bianca Karsten will also be taking part. And presenter Hinnerk Baumgarten will also be attending the event. The guests of honor will be available for photos and interviews from 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The line-up starts at 10 a.m. at the wholesale market, departure around 2 p.m., the starting signal will be given by the American Consul GeneralJason Chue. The route will be closed for a short time during the parade. The closure will be lifted again immediately after the last motorcycle, so that the relevant roads or road sections will not be passable for a maximum of 30 minutes.

But before that happens, there will be plenty of good live music: H-BLOCKX are the headliners on Friday evening. The „time to move anniversary“ tour of the crossover pioneers, who have already shared the stage with Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas, is as good as sold out - so it's a real chance to experience the live power of H-Blockx, a true veteran of the German music scene, at Harley Days. A further 18 bands will also be performing rock'n'roll, blues, rockabilly and southern music.
Special program items this year include the newly designed custom bike show on Saturday and the stunt show with even more events, including on Sunday. Brand new: the 2nd Hamburg State Barbecue Championships on Saturday, theBlock House Cup on the BBQ court on Sunday and a Tattoo Convention with around 20 tattoo artists. AlsoTest drives of the latest models attract fans of the legendary V-twins in particular.
An event hotline has been set up for all other questions about the event, the parade, temporary traffic disruptions and complaints: 040-410095-15.
The event times are as follows:
Fri. 28.6. - 12-24 o'clock
Sat. 29.6. - 11-24 h
Sun. 30.6. - 10-18 o'clock
