(Neu-Isenburg, 29.04.2019) The appeal and attraction of the Hanseatic city are legendary - when it comes to the most popular cities in Germany, the Hamburg has always been at the forefront. One in five Germans would like to work here, PricewaterhouseCoopers„ auditors found out the year before last. In the same year, a survey by “The Economist„ named Hamburg the most liveable city in our country and the “New York Times" listed the metropolis in its to-go list of the world's top destinations.

Davon überzeugen sich Jahr für Jahr auch Tausende Harley-Davidson Fans, die von nah und fern zu den Hamburg Harley Days flock to party for three days at Europe's largest admission-free motorcycle city event, enjoy the shared lifestyle and ride motorcycles together. This year, the major event with Hanseatic flair will take place from June 28 to 30. One of the main themes is the 50th anniversary of the cult film „Easy Rider“, which captured the attitude to life of an entire generation in 1969.
The event homebase will once again be the site at the wholesale market. Here, Harley-Davidson dealers and independent dealers will ensure that no biker wish remains unfulfilled, from accessories and clothing to complete motorcycles on an area of around 40,000 square meters. Visitors can quench their hunger and thirst at the trailers and tents of countless caterers and jam on the stages until the doctor comes. On the Main Stage, the unadulterated, sweat-inducing German rock from Brenner, classic and southern rock from the Laura Cox Band and the rough and banging sounds of Ohrenfeindt are just some of the guarantees. One of the top acts is Brit Kris Barras and his band, who have been voted „Top Blues Guitarist in the World“ by MusicRadar.
If you want to party on into the early hours of the morning, head to Spielbudenplatz on the Reeperbahn, which will be a side location for the Hamburg Harley Days during the event nights. Mönckebergstraße, one of Hamburg's main shopping streets, is also once again one of the event's hotspots, as this is where the Ride-In Bike Show takes place, where the most beautiful converted bikes compete for the coveted trophies. Meanwhile, the 2019 Harley-Davidson models will be available for free, no-obligation test rides on the event grounds at the Grossmarkt - driving license required! During three guided tours, visitors will discover the highlights of the Hamburg region and, of course, the big parade through the Hanseatic city is not to be missed. This year it will be led by singer, composer, guitarist and Harley rider Peter Maffay.
