At the wholesale market at half past midnight
From June 22nd to 24th, the Hamburg Harley Days attracted around 500,000 visitors to the Hanseatic city
What a party! From June 22nd to 24th the motto in Hamburg again: If Harley is in town, it's time to party! This time there were around 70,000 V-Twins that turned the Hanseatic city into a biker mecca, despite one or two refreshing rain showers. The center of the action was once again the “Harley Village” at the wholesale market. While the view with a unique panorama of HafenCity and Michel was as great as usual, the spectrum of entertainment, action and experience was greater than ever.
The reason: The available area was re-divided for 2012: authorized dealers, traders and customizers in the “dealer area”, but also the restaurateurs were given significantly more space to make the around 500,000 visitors happy. Harley-Davidson truck, which was filled to the roof and had the entire current model range in its luggage for free test drives, also made everyone happy
More to marvel at than to ride: the fascinating 2012 bike creations from the Jever Brewery.
Three motorcycles , three philosophies, and all so hot that a cool blonde was just right for the viewers.
Real eye-catchers elsewhere too: in the Ride-In Bike Show, custom dream after custom dream lined up.
Beauties of a different kind: The pole dancers from the German Pole Sport Association eV in the bar area, who impressively demonstrated that perfect chassis does not always have to have anything to do with motorcycles.
Hamburg Harley Days were an absolute must not only visually but also in terms of sound thanks to numerous live gigs.
The Canadian band “Jonas & The Massive Attraction” rocked the stage on Saturday evening and released the numerous fans in great spirits onto the Reeperbahn, where the party continued, as always, until the early hours of the morning at the second location of the Harley Party.
Unfortunately, Petrus was not in the party mood for Sunday.
Nevertheless, many festival visitors did not miss the opportunity to take part in the longest parade of the Hamburg Harley Days .
The unique flair of the Hanseatic city once again proved the organizers right.
One thing is already clear to them: With both “110 Years of Harley-Davidson” and “10 Years of Hamburg Harley Days”, the Hanseatic city can look forward to a top-class anniversary party from June 21st to 23rd, 2013!
