The Hamburg Harley Days will take place from July 4th to 6th
• Harley is celebrating for the eleventh time where the first German Harleys landed

New York should never sleep, all of Paris should dream of love and London should disappear in style into the fog - Hamburg, the gateway to the world, is simply more beautiful. At least that's what most of its residents think, according to statistics the happiest people in our country. You enjoy the maritime flair of water and the big, wide world, the numerous fleets, over 2,500 bridges, a lively culture and wild nightlife as well as the wanderlust that is at home on the landing stages. What other city than this “free” city, where the first Harleys once hit German soil, would be better suited for an event under the banner of the Bar and Shield logo? Even! That's why Harley-Davidson returns year after year to the lively and lovable metropolis on the Elbe to celebrate a huge party.
Instead of flowers, fruit and vegetables, in 2014 the Hamburg wholesale market will once again focus on motorcycles and everything that goes with them for three days. From July 4th to 6th, the bikers will take over the approximately 40,000 m² area at Banksstrasse 28: people and machines as far as the eye can see, a huge dealer mile, food and drinks as well as the latest bikes from Milwaukee, USA provide plenty of topics to talk about.
As usual, you can not only admire them, but also test drive them to your heart's content. More than 25 machines – including the new touring bikes from Harley-Davidson – will be brought to Hamburg on a large truck and will be available for free test rides.
If you don't have a driver's license yet, you can drive on an authentic driving simulator on Route 66 and Highway No. 1 dream. Strong bands will once again provide the appropriate soundtrack this year: Snakecharmer with ex-Whitesnake stars Micky Moody and Neil Murray will delight the classic, hard and melodic rock fan base. Actor and musician Tom Beck proves that his territory is not just the highway, but also the stage. And the Reeperbahn rockers Ohrfeindt offer authentic full-throttle rock with a rough throat, fat riffs and thunderous rhythms.
Diversity is also the order of the day at the top-class Ride-In Bike Show. This show of the most beautiful among the beautiful will take place as usual on Saturday in Mönckebergstrasse. Visitors can also see for themselves that no two Harleys are alike at the big Sunday parade through the city. And at the latest when the lights go out at the wholesale market, the party continues in Sankt Pauli, where bikers, night owls and partygoers meet on the second event mile at Spielbudenplatz.
