ARE THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON 120TH ANNIVERSARY MODELS COMING NOW?
Where are they?
The Harley-Davidson anniversary models were spectacularly announced on January 18, 2023, but you can't see them yet. My newsroom has received the following information so far. They are on their way, the first ones should have already reached Europe, they have to, otherwise the large-scale 120th Anniversary presentation date, which will take place on April 29, 2023 at many of the Harley-Davidson dealerships, will probably cause a lot of trouble. Some dealers have scheduled this special 120th Anniversary Open House day for May 6. From what we hear, they are in high demand, but it will still be a tight squeeze.

It's probably not primarily about buying them, but you have to see them. The paintwork comes across really well, I was able to marvel at a Road Glide Special Anniversary in Dortmund and basically didn't take a really good photo of it because of the excitement.
Are the 120th Anniversary models already on display somewhere?
In Germany, there are currently only the Road Glide Special Anniversary, as far as I know. In Budapest there is a Heritage 120th Anniversary, this is the promo bike that she used for the 120th Anniversary Festival in Budapest raffle be.
The English are even said to have a Anniversary Road Glide CVO 117 It was on display for a short time at the motorcycle show in Prague. It will certainly be back in England now.
Which models are available in the 120th Anniversary version?
Not counting the double-limited CVO model with the special, special Eagle special paint finish, Harley-Davidson has given six models the 120th anniversary paint finish. They are all limited editions, only the units are different for some models.
120TH TRI GLIDE ULTRA ANNIVERSARY - 1100 UNITS
From the Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary there are only 1,100 models. I'm curious to see if we'll even get to see one of her in Germany. The Tri Glide Ultra is particularly popular in the USA. That's no surprise, it will be an ideal companion, especially on the long haul. When I think of the long highways in the USA, I can understand the American bikers who are on the Tri GLide Ultra let the wind blow around your nose and tour very comfortably at the same time.
I haven't ridden it yet, but I know from friends that they originally only wanted to ride the Tri Glide because they didn't have a motorcycle license, so that they could switch to a motorcycle later when they had their license in their pocket. They still ride Tri Glide today, but not because they have to, but because they want to.
120TH ULTRA LIMITED ANNIVERSARY - 1300 COPIES
The Ultra Limited anniversary model is limited to just 1300 units worldwide. It is therefore also particularly rare. Harley-Davidson has published just four pictures of the magnificent tourer, which offers a particularly large area for the Heirloom Fade 120th Anniversary paint kit.
120th STREET GLIDE SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY - 1600 EXEMPLARE
The Street Glide Special Anniversary is certainly the TOP seller among the anniversary models. The Street and Road Glide Special models are both available in the „Black Trim“ Design. The engine, exhaust system, fork and many other parts are in deep black. I've already seen the Road Glide live, it's a feast for the eyes!
120TH ROAD GLIDE SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY - 1600 UNITS
She could be seen live at the „Motorräder Dortmund“ motorcycle show. That was the premiere in Germany, and so far there is nothing more to see of her. However, this will slowly change from mid-April. The Road Glide Special Anniversary also has the „Black Trim“ design, which really suits it. The Road Glide Special, or the Road Glide ST with 117 engine, are generally great tourers, although my favorites are the ST models that I rode last year.
120TH HERITAGE CLASSIC ANNIVERSARY - 1700 COPIES
The Heritage Classic is generally a very confident and good bike from Harley-Davidson. It can somehow do everything, is very easy to handle, has pressure from the cellar and, above all, is suitable for long distances.

Its light output with the LED headlights is brilliant, its design is a matter of taste, but in terms of riding and seating characteristics, it is certainly one of the best in the Harley-Davidson portfolio! There is certainly a reason why there are 1700 of them in existence! It has a „Chrome Finish“ design, which suits it very well.

120TH FAT BOY 114 ANNIVERSARY - 3000 COPIES
From the Fat Boy 114 Anniversary There are 3000 of them, which sounds like a lot at first, but Harley-Davidson will have thought of something. It is the fastest standard Harley with the Milwaukee-Eight engine and only stops at 190 km/h, which many people don't even know. But Harley-Davidson has never really been about speed. It has very good straight-line stability and its 240 rear wheel sits firmly on the road, only when it comes to cornering do you really have to push it in. You could say that the Fat Boy is a bit stubborn in this respect, but if you pull the Fat Boy out of the bend nicely, it's fun.

120th MotorClothes Fashion Collection
The 120th MotorClothes Fashion Collection, on the other hand, is already available, with the Anniversary T-shirt starting at €54 if you are one of the slim ones - more fabric costs more money! The fuller ones among us will pay €65 for the visually identical Anniversary T-shirt. For the ladies, the Anniversary T-shirts start at €47 for XS and €58 for 3W. There are some nice things, but you really have to want it.
In any case, the Harley-Davidson anniversary is the big theme this year, and the highlight will be the festival in Budapest. I'm really looking forward to it, many of you are planning really nice tours there, which is sometimes not so easy when the groups suddenly get bigger than first thought. Sometimes you have to know exactly which route you want to take if you are planning overnight stays and suddenly need 10 rooms, preferably in the same hotel.
Stopover in Dresden
Another tip would be to stop off in Dresden, where there is a beer garden „Schiller Garden„, where many Harley bikers will gather, but don't overdo it if you want to continue on to Budapest the next day 🙂 .
